Call for papers

Guidelines for the preparation of the extended abstracts - Conference Proceeding Book:

The organizers are planning to include the submitted abstracts in the conference proceedings book. There is an opportunity to replace the existing abstract with an extended abstract, up to 4 pages large, which should be completed before 30 June 2016.

  • The maximum number of pages is four. This includes text, figures, tables and references.
  • Please, download and use the enclosed template for a structured abstract preparation.
  • The extended abstract must be submitted electronically, preferably as a PDF document.
  • Figures, tables and pictures must be of a good printable quality.
  • One copy of the extended abstract should be mailed to conference secretary: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Aerosol and Air Quality Research - special issue

The Scientific Committee is planning to put together a special issue in Aerosol and Air Quality Research (http://aaqr.org/) after the conference. Any contributions from the conference topicsare welcome. Authors are encouraged to consider acontribution to this special issue. A separate call for papers will be distributed.


 


 

We welcome you to submit abstracts of papers contributed as oral or poster presentations. The abstracts should be informative and concise with max. 300 words for 'title + background + aim + method + results + conclusion' sections together. The submission of the abstracts is expected by 31 January 2016.

Please, download and use the enclosed template for a structured abstract preparation. Simply replace the text in the template, which is not in bold font, by your text and leave the text in bold unchanged. Respect its internal structure, style and format. Name your abstract text file or files using the corresponding author surname, followed by a digit if there is more than one abstract, e.g. abstract-johnson.rtf, abstract-sobik1.rtf, abstract-sobik2.rtf, etc. The preferable file format is [.rtf] (Rich Text Format).

Each submitted abstract will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Organizing Committee, and accepted contributors will be notified by 29 February 2016. The Scientific Organizing Committee will also decide on poster or oral form of presentation and allocation to a specific session.


Structured abstract

Author: surname with the initials (in the case of co-authors, please underline the corresponding author)
Affiliation: affiliation of all authors
Corresponding author's address: postal address and e-mail address of the corresponding author
Presentation type: put here your suggestion 'oral' or 'poster'

Title. Presentation title.
Background. This is the introductory/motivation part of the abstract with relevant information (if needed).
Aim. The aim of the study should be clearly stated here.
Method. The project description should be outlined here including e.g. site description, the equipment used, methods of data elaboration, etc.
Results. Concrete results should be stated and discussed here. It is suggested that they constitute around 50% of the abstract volume.
Conclusion. This is a section for the main conclusion or conclusions.
